Catalog description

This course outlines all the details to create an original video game, build an effective game proposal outline with background information, the story, asset lists, hardware and software requirements. This course will teach the student to maximize design and development time of the original creator. Students will properly detail the proposal for a programming and artistic team to take a game from start to finish. Typically offered Fall. Prerequisite(s): CGT 24100 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C Course Learning Outcomes 1. Develop original game ideas with available aesthetic, hardware and software requirements, and formalize the game design document. 2. Apply 3D modeling, texture mapping and lighting techniques in game level design. 3. Demonstrate skills in game programming/scripting, animation, and game interface design. 4.
