Catalog description

This course explores User Interface design for digital products, services, and applications. Topics include Gestalt principles, design styles, iconography, typography, and heuristics. Incorporating a user-centered design process, students gain proficiency designing and prototyping interactive, screen-based interfaces that enable users to accomplish tasks and achieve goals. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Prerequisite(s): CGT 14100 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C AND CGT 25000 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C Course Learning Outcomes 1. Interpret Gestalt principles as they relate to User Interface design. 2. Incorporate design styles for screen-based interactive products, services, and applications. 3.
