To develop knowledge and skills necessary for the design and analysis of physical and chemical operations and processes utilized in water and wastewater treatment. Instructor permission required. Prerequisite(s): CE 35400 FOR LEVEL UG WITH MIN. GRADE OF C Course Learning Outcomes 1. Understand the characteristics of water quality (physical, chemical, microbiological). 2. Understand and analyze the principles of various water filtration methods. 3. Understand and analyze the management of disinfection and removal of pollutants. 4.
