Catalog description

This course is designed for students beyond their first year. It allows them to explore significant emerging issues, challenges, and opportunities affecting domestic and global businesses. Students will examine contemporary driving forces across different levels of the business environment and address the trends, challenges, and opportunities that arise for various stakeholder groups. The course emphasizes the factors and dynamics that reshape how we think about, create, and conduct business across industries and countries. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Understand the significance of the business environment using conceptual frameworks. 2. Analyze the dynamics of the U.S. and international business environments. 3. Identify and explain the challenges and opportunities in the contemporary business world, including their underlying causes. 4. Interpret major trends in various levels of the business environment and assess their potential impact on future businesses through analytical and critical thinking. 5. Apply the knowledge gained in this course to plan and navigate future career paths. 6.
