This course provides an introduction to the structure, function, ecology, behavior, conservation, and classification of birds. It includes both field and laboratory aspects, and will provide a working knowledge of birds native to Northwest Indiana. This hands-on course is designed for non-scientists, teachers, and bird enthusiasts in general. No advanced training is required for this course. Typically offered Summer.
