Catalog description

This course will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how AI is transforming key business functions, including supply chain management, business analytics, marketing, strategic management, sustainability, human resources, finance, hospitality, and accounting. This interdisciplinary course will explore AI-driven decision-making, predicitve analytics, automation, and ethical considerations, equipping students with the skills to leverage AI business tools. (e.g. Salesforce and SAP) effectively in a data-driven business environment. By integrating real-world applications and hands-on learning experiences, the course will prepare future business leaders to harness AI for efficiency, strategic innovation, and sustainable growth across industries. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to integrate AI technologies strategically into business practices, enhancing productivity and innovation. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Analyze the Impact of AI Across Business Functions. Examine how artificial intelligence is transforming various business domains (e.g., marketing, finance, HR, supply chain, etc.) and evaluate its strategic implications. 2. Utilize AI-Enabled Business Tools. Apply AI-driven platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP) to solve business problems, improve efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making. 3. Interpret and Apply Predictive Analytics and Automation Techniques. Analyze business data using foundational predictive analytics and automation tools to forecast outcomes and support operational decisions. 4. Evaluate Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues Related to AI in Business. Identify and assess ethical dilemmas, data privacy issues, and social impacts associated with the use of AI technologies in business. 5. Develop and Justify AI-Integrated Business Strategies. Formulate strategic recommendations that leverage AI technologies for innovation, sustainability, and competitive advantage. 6. Communicate AI-Driven Insights Effectively. Present clear and persuasive insights and recommendations based on AI-generated data to various business stakeholders, both in writing and orally. 7. Apply Knowledge Through Real-World Projects and Case Studies.
