Catalog description

An introductory course in visual design computing programs used in the study and production of visual communication design. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Develop skills using industry standard design software specifically Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. 2. Experiment with and iterate through image-making utilizing various methods and vector-based digital techniques. 3. Strengthen conceptual image-making skills. 4. Increase ability to generate and choose intensely metaphoric imagery to enhance visual communication. 5. Understand and use design terminology and design principles. 6.
