Catalog description

This course presents a study of basic photographic technique from a practical and artistic point of view. Students will be presented with the opportunity to develop aesthetic and compositional skills while building a portfolio of significant images. A 35mm camera with adjustable controls or a digital camera is required. Typically offered Summer Fall Spring. Course Learning Outcomes 1. Identify the tools and techniques associated with digital photography. 2. Apply the technical, mechanical and creative skills necessary to produce relevant photography for effective visual communications. 3. Assemble and manage a photography exhibit. 4.
