Catalog description

This course explores the fundamentals of water usage in fire protection and explains how hydraulic principles are employed in the resolution of water supply problems. The course also discusses water flow, standpipe and sprinkler systems, relay pumping operations, and fire stream strategies. You will also have the opportunity to calculate fire flow demands for a community.
