Catalog description

This course introduces you to the scientific basis of exercise and fitness physiology and related human anatomy, including cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems. You will learn about lifestyle choices, the benefits of being active, health appraisals and assessment testing, and fitness principles to design a personalized exercise plan. You will also explore current strategies in exercise and fitness training.
