This course provides an overview of emergency preparedness and disaster management, covering the incident command system, phases of emergency management, public health emergency preparedness (PHEP) capabilities, emergency operations center activities, epidemiologic response, and addressing the needs of vulnerable populations during disasters. You will learn how to prepare for and address disruptions in public health systems during disasters.
