This course introduces epidemiologic methods and concepts essential for assessing, analyzing, and evaluating health data. You will learn to describe patterns of illness in populations, explore research designs used to investigate disease etiology, and apply quantitative measures to assess risk and association. Emphasis will also be placed on practical applications of these methods to public health issues, including surveillance and outbreak investigation.
