Catalog description

This course provides you with the tools needed to develop and submit a formal proposal for research relevant to the psychology graduate curriculum and your chosen area of study. The proposal will reflect a research study that you will conduct in the following term. The proposal will include a literature review, hypothesis, and methodology to test the hypothesis. When required, students enrolled in this course will submit an application to the university's Institutional Review Board (IRB) at the end of the term. This course is best suited for students who wish to add to the body of professional knowledge in their chosen field of psychology or who intend to pursue a postgraduate doctoral degree.
