Catalog description

This course addresses the fundamentals of designing effective behavioral interventions that promote, maintain, and generalize socially significant behaviors. You will learn how to determine treatment goals, design interventions based on functional assessment data, develop technological and effective teaching procedures for behavior change, and evaluate the potential emotional and elicited effects of a behavior intervention. Finally, you will develop a comprehensive behavior intervention plan that considers the ethical, practical, legal, cultural, and social validity factors of a real-world setting.
