Catalog description

This course addresses behaviorism and the philosophical foundations of applied behavior analysis. You will learn the goals of behavior analysis as a science and the philosophical assumptions that underlie the science. You will also explore behavior from the perspective of radical behaviorism and learn to distinguish among behaviorism, experimental analysis of behavior, and applied behavior analysis, within the context of professional practice. Finally, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of the dimensions of applied behavior analysis that have and continue to guide research and practice in the field.
