Catalog description

This course will guide you in the process of selecting the best methodology for conducting qualitative research. You will evaluate and apply the five qualitative research approaches: narrative research, phenomenology, grounded theory, ethnography, and case study. The philosophical foundation, history, defining features, common data procedures, and writing structures will be covered. Technological developments in qualitative research, as well as issues inherent in this process of inclusivity and diversity, will also be addressed.
