Catalog description

This course covers agreements formed by private individuals using established contract law principles. You will study the basic elements of contract formation: offers, acceptances, considerations, damages, breaches, and restitutions. You will also look at situations when the law may intervene in these private contracts to prevent one party to the agreement from taking undue advantage of the other party or parties. You will also learn how to distinguish between the common law of contracts and the Uniform Commercial Code.
