This course will explore core purposes, principles, and theories of global health. Examining critical global health topics in an engaging manner provides the foundation of the course. You will build an appreciation for the importance of global health and the complexities of our increasingly interdependent world. The course develops the skills needed to analyze global health issues and problems, preparing you to devise needed solutions to these issues. You will gain essential skills to understand, analyze, evaluate, and impact change in global health through course readings, discussions, and assignments. Furthermore, this course prepares you for leadership roles by emphasizing effective communication, strategic planning, and the ability to drive positive change.
