Catalog description
This course will help you to understand the roles and responsibilities of a telehealth coordinator with a focus on delivering high-quality care, safety, and privacy for patients who utilize these services. The course will familiarize you with key responsibilities, including administrative oversight, project management, developing policies and procedures, establishing efficient workflows, training and supporting clinical and nonclinical staff in their unique roles, and effective marketing of a telehealth program. Further, you will assess strategies that improve provider engagement with diverse patient populations during telehealth encounters. You will learn how to establish and lead the process of integrating telehealth services into an ambulatory medical practice.
