Catalog description

This course explores the processes of policy making that address many of the key health issues that face the United States of America. You will learn to think critically about potential causative factors associated with these health issues and the policy alternatives that are needed to address them effectively by engaging in real-life simulations. This course will equip you with the skills to analyze, develop, implement, advocate for, and evaluate public health policies at various levels of government, focusing on a variety of elements such as health policy development, economics, political science, management, communications, and public health.
