Catalog description
This course guides you through the development of Chapter 3 for an applied research project. You will refine alignment between the research problem, purpose, central research question, and data collection procedures while selecting appropriate qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method approaches. Emphasis is placed on developing methodologically defensible procedures; identifying participants or data sources; selecting appropriate instruments or protocols; addressing credibility, validity, reliability, ethical safeguards, confidentiality, and data security; and aligning procedures with data analysis. You will also review IRB pathway guidance in preparation for continued development in ED825 . This course is graded pass/fail.
