This course provides an in-depth examination of the various challenges facing public safety agencies in terms of ethical conduct and responsible leadership. Topics will include ethical theories, accountability in public safety leadership, trust mechanisms between public safety agencies and stakeholders, progressive policy development, and internal and external accountability systems, which serve to augment stakeholder trust. This course will provide you with strategies associated with ethically responsible leadership.
