This course introduces the basic concepts of environmental risk assessment, examines various potential environmental risks, including natural disasters and examines how science, government, business, and industry measure and prepare for environmental risks. By the end of this course, you will be able to describe the concept of risk, the risk assessment process, analyze risk management and mitigation options, and the political and social factors that can influence their selection.
