You will explore how energy, force, torque, work, and power apply to real machinery, then connect those principles to common power transmission systems such as belts, chains, gears, couplings, and conveyor drives. The course emphasizes how proper installation, alignment, lubrication, and inspection practices reduce vibration, heat, wear, and unplanned downtime while improving overall equipment performance. Throughout the course, you will develop problem-solving skills by applying structured troubleshooting methods, selecting and using maintenance tools correctly, and practicing safe rigging and installation procedures.
