This course introduces the evolution of aviation from its early beginnings through space and emerging to the advanced air mobility age. You will learn about key individuals and their fundamental work that set the course for the development of the aviation industry, how military developments translated into commercial aviation applications, and the need for regulatory development to maintain safety. Finally, you will learn about the development of the space age and the emerging advanced air mobility efforts aiming toward autonomous flight.
