P: (PSY 10000 or 14000), and PSY 12000, and (PSY 20100 or STAT 24000), all with grades of C- or better. R: ENGL 23301. The use of scientific method in psychology. Lecture covers principles of collecting and interpreting data, using examples of research from many areas of psychology. In the laboratory portion, the student uses many different techniques from various areas of psychology.
