Catalog description
This course examines a broad range of characteristics and abilities related to disorders, illnesses and injuries, and the affordances of music to support the full potential of individuals who are differently-abled. Includes consideration of music in early development, music in special education, and physical and mental health applications, as well as consideration of legal and ethical issues related to the provision of music therapy services to differently-abled clients.
