Catalog description

P: Department permission required. This course is a private instruction to promote and cultivate foundational guitar techniques in all genres with emphasis on skills such as reading notation and rhythms, playing chords and scales, and developing improvisational skills. Each semester of study will explore genre-specific repertory and interpretive skills. For music minors, students taking a secondary instrument, and other non-music majors.
