Programming Fundamentals I

Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to programming using an object oriented programming language and its integrated development environment. Topics to be covered include the syntax and structure of the language; controls, dialog boxes, and other interface tools; menu design; multiple forms; error-trapping; and arrays. Other topics that may be covered include object linking and embedding (OLE); VB for applications; database development using record sets and data bound controls: data handling; grids; validations and election; drag and drop; and graphics, and new revisions for interoperability with other languages.
