Catalog description
Restricted to counseling majors. This beginning practicum course assists the counseling student in the process of integrating skills and knowledge previously acquired in the program. The emphasis is upon application. Students will have a small caseload of community clients to counsel and will be supervised by a faculty member. Theory, client management, ethics, and processes of effective counseling are the primary goals.
