Infant And Toddler Curriculum

C: EDU 30140. This course explores the developmental milestones, caregiving practices, and learning environments that support infants and toddlers from birth to age three. Students will examine theories of early development, responsive caregiving, and the importance of relationships in fostering healthy growth. Emphasis is placed on observation, documentation, and assessment strategies to understand individual differences and promote inclusive practices. Through readings, discussions, and hands-on experiences, students will gain insight into the role of early childhood professionals in nurturing the whole child. This course requires a field placement in an early childhood center/program.
