Catalog description

P: ECON 20201, junior or senior class standing, and consent of instructor. This course helps to prepare students to participate in the College Fed Challenge Competition. In this Competition, a team of three to five students will make a video presentation on their recommended course of monetary policy, which the Federal Reserve should implement at the next Federal Open Market Committee based on the current state of the economy. The semi-finals would include prepping for a 15-minute question-and-answer session in front of a panel of at least 3 federal reserve judges.
