Department permission required. Restricted to CS Majors: MS of Computer Science and BS/BA in Computer Science (Jr./Sr. level).All other majors by permission. Web Development brings shared content and software systems to the largest network in the world. Web content has various forms and needs, and numerous evolving technologies are used to support creation of web products for nearly every industry. This course develops skills in most fundamental areas of web development including front-end (client), back-end (server), frameworks, testing, and dev-ops technologies. Focus is given to modern and emerging technologies that are expected to remain most marketable. Students will apply concepts to practical assignments and a substantial course project. Permission of department required.
