P: BUS 30200 with grade of C- or better, and junior or senior class standing. This course covers the theory and practice of managing people in organizations and develops an understanding of human capital that managers can leverage to achieve the objectives of an organization. Topics include: understanding the development of the modern human resource field and its utilization in society and organizations including but not limited to utilization in government programs and policies, labor force statistics; planning, needs forecasting; selection, and training and development.
