Biology Resource Seminar

Catalog description

P: Biology major with freshman class standing. Provides incoming Biology majors with an overview of the degree program and its application to relevant professions. Focus will be on: campus resources and strategies for success, information literacy and scientific thinking, career paths in biology, and responsibilities of biologists. Presentations will be made by Department of Biological Sciences faculty, guest speakers from on and off campus, and advanced students in support of class discussion.
