Catalog description

P: In a program of the Department of Art and Design. In design fundamentals, the student becomes familiar with the vocabulary and elements of the visual language. Also, the expressive powers of the elements of line, shape, texture, space and color are explored through a series of sequential exercises. Many different problems in building visual units provide the training artists need to make individual, yet clear, expressive and complete statements. Minimum grade of C- required to count towards any program of the Department of Art and Design.
