P: In a program of the Department of Art and Design. This course uses pre-digital methodologies to ensure that students experience letterforms at the level of drawing them first, before using them to communicate messages. Students will learn the anatomy of type as well as the units, terminology, and principles of designing with type. Minimum grade of C- required to count towards any program of the Department of Art and Design.
