Catalog description
Pre-requisites: TMED 4021. The scope of this course is on the areas of pathophysiology classification of anemias and other erythrocyte disorders, and on the morphologic and pathophysiologic aspects of white blood cells as seen in leukemia, lymphomas and infections. Related diagnostic tests are discussed. Laboratory sessions provide students the opportunity to practice routine procedures in Hematology.
