Fieldwork Experience Level I Part A

Catalog description

Pre-requisites: First Year courses, except TEOC 6005. This Level I Fieldwork course will provide the students with a supervised experience in which they will have the opportunity to participate and provide preventive services in a variety of community scenarios. Service learning is stressed throughout the cou rse. Previously selected community settings will provide for the development of skills related to the implementation of the occupational therapy process, with emphasis in the occupational health -dysfunction continuum in a diversity of conditions, situation s and age groups. Throughout the experience the students will apply interventions according to the occupational therapy domain and process and based on scientific evidence to the selected community.
