Catalog description
Pre-requisites: TEFI 7055. This is the first of five clinical experiences, consisting of four hours a week where the student will be assigned to an outpatient, acute or rehabilitation setting. This experience allows the student to integrate course content presented in the pre -requisites and co-requisite courses. The student begins to think, feel, and act as a physical therapist and should demonstrate professional behavior. The student is expected to actively participate in the planning and design of the clinical experience. At the en d of this practice, the student is expected to demonstrate beginner performance according to the Clinical Performance Instrument grading scale. This course may require traveling outside of the San Juan Metropolitan Area. Grading System: Passed (P), Not Passed (NP)
