Research in Public Health

Catalog description

Pre-requisites: BIOE 8005, EPID 8002. This course aims to increase the student’s skills and research knowledge to enable them to write their research project proposal. The requirements of the proposal are examined. The themes of problem conceptualization, research design, data-gathering techniques and data analysis are emphasized. The student will explore their topic of interest and will conduct a literature review, identification of the research design and methodology appropriate to their research problem. This course is structured as to allow students the opportunity to present their work and obtain feedback.
