The course is intended to train mother and child health professionals to provide adequate information to women in order to motivate them to make informed decisions about their pregnancy and childbirth; and enabling them to have a satisfactory and healthy e xperience for them and their sons and daughters. Education and practices of pregnancy and childbirth should be based on the best and most active scientific evidence available. The course integrates evidence -based practice as a research strategy in childbir th education. The course will be offered completely online and is aimed at the professional who attends topics related to the health of the mother and childhood.
