Catalog description

Pre-requisites: General Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry. This course includes basic principles in Microbiology and its applications to Veterinary Medicine. The students will study the different groups of microorganisms by its morphology, staining characteristics, motility, nutritional requirements, and metabolis m. It will include basic principles of Mycology, Virology, and Milk Microbiology. This will be accomplished by lectures and laboratory experiences.
