Capstone Project in Public Health Environmental Health

Catalog description

Pre -requisites: Have approved all public health core courses and specialty courses. This course provides students of the Master in Public Health in Environmental Health with an integrating learning experience. It allows students to demonstrate their mastery of public health competencies. As part of the capstone, each student will submit a portfolio as evidence of the foundational and specialty competencies acquire during their studies. In this course, students are expected to generate a written product, which might include the following: training manual, policy statement, program evaluati on report, review paper related to an important public health issue, a deposition before a legislative committee of the State Legislature with accompanying supporting research, among other integrative high quality project.
