Pre -requisites: Have approved all public health core courses and specialty courses. This course is designed for graduate students of the Master in Public Health with a specialty in Environmental Health. The course provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate competency in the field of Public Health through an applied practice experience. The student will integrate and apply the knowledge and skills in a supervised practice experience to address a specific environmental health problem at a public health or environmental agency and/or community serving an organization. At the end of the course, students are expected to apply appropriate intervention activities to address the identified environmental public health problem and disseminate the field experience results.
