Entrepreneurship and Business Development in the Biopharmaceutical Industry Sector

Catalog description

The objective of the course is to follow through the course PHSC 8338 business, quality, and project management learnings, taking these to the next level, the creation of an enterprise, a research collaboration, and talent development. The course takes the student’s learnings gain through the pharmaceutical sciences program, and their research into business opportunities that create growth either through the creation of new products or services or creating business growth for an established company. The stu dents and their sponsoring principal investigators (PI) will be guided toward the development of a business idea into a formal innovation business model, or a collaboration project leading to knowledge building or knowledge transfer through an established company business case. This course will be offered face to face.
