Classic Periodontal Literature Seminar II

Catalog description
Pre-requisite: PERI 9101. Co- requisite: PERI 9222. In this course the 2nd year periodontal graduate student will be responsible for reading, critically evaluate, and presents to the faculty and peers, a broad range of assigned classic scientific articles, dealing with or associated to the art and science o f Periodontology, for discussion thereof. These articles will be directly related to and complementary to the Periodontal Lecture Series II course taken throughout the year. Through the analysis and discussion of these articles the resident will expand his/her knowledge about the techniques used in the treatment of periodontal disease, as well as continue developing the ability to evaluate advanced techniques that may arise in the future. The course will be delivered in face-to-face mode.
