Catalog description
In this face-to-face mode course, the first-year master's student in periodontology will be exposed to clinical experience in the field of periodontology including weekly rotations. It is expected that the student treats at least 25 cases with documentation including the discussion of medical history, diagnosis, treatment planning, complete therapy and outcomes including alternatives of periodontal therapy and related dental disciplines, that suit the physical, psychological, and financial need of the patient. Diagnosis and rehabilitation of partially or completely edentulous patient s with implants is required. This course fosters understanding of clinical decision-making processes and complements individualized instruction that residents receive from faculty in the clinic. Faculty supervision and demonstration of treatment will be offered.
