Current Periodontal Literature Seminar I

Catalog description

In this course, the first -year master's student in periodontology will be responsible for reading, critically evaluating, and presenting to faculty and their peers, scientific articles from the current literature for discussion. During the seminar the stud ent will acquire extensive knowledge about the latest treatment modalities that are being developed in Periodontics. Through the discussion and analysis of the articles it is expected that the student may develop the necessary bases to establish a rational therapy. Topics to be covered in this review include the latest diagnostic methods and treatment modalities. The course will be offered in face-to-face mode.
