Expanded Functions in Restorative Laboratory

Catalog description

This course introduces the dental assistant to programmed progressive experiences necessary to develop the basic skills in the most common restorative operative procedures in order to develop proficiency in this field. It will also include live demonstrati ons and laboratory practice on a manikin. Emphasis is placed in the utilization and correct manipulation of instruments and materials during the different restorative projects and body positioning for gaining access to all areas of the oral cavity.
